InSite is actively seeking a senior software engineer with a background in C# / .NET development to expand our team and deliver high-value web application solutions to a range of corporate clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance InSite’s new and existing .NET applications
  • Assist with customer-facing activities such as technical sales assistance, requirement gathering, and support
  • Assist in the support and maintenance of existing clients
  • Ensure that all software projects have appropriate design documentation and are optimized for performance
  • Maintain a current level of industry knowledge on Web/EAI tools, EDW Tools, technology, and distributed computing concepts
  • Provide UI design expertise and be a key driving contributor for our flagship products
  • Lead and manage additional software developers as they are added to the team
  • Develop expertise and provide leadership with respect to InSite solutions
  • Assist in software project planning activities
  • Provide input to requirements for enhancing InSite’s applications

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years in .NET/C# development
  • 7+ years with MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
  • Experience with Visual Studio 2010 is a plus
  • Experience implementing Web Services
  • Experience using XML/XSL and related standards
  • Experience with SQL Reporting Service
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing object-oriented browser-based
    applications
  • Any experience with ECM or SharePoint is a plus
  • Entity Framework, WWF and WPF experience is a plus
  • Experience in a leadership role overseeing tasks, resources, milestones and budgets
  • A commitment to exceptional customer service
